Need the Following unit. Anyone know of a goo place to buy one?

Actually was given a Intake but after cleaning and refinioshing I realized it's no good for my application.

The one on my boat rusted/erroded thru to the base. (details in another thread)

Thanks,

I dont know what that number goes to but if you tell us what kind of motor and drive you have we might have an answer.

14096244 is the OMC number, but is also the Chevrolet part number if that helps in the search.
Auto wreckers might have them.

Re: OMC Intake Manifold -14096244

I don't think any intake will work for replacing a 14096244.

Please see attached pick. The arrow in RED shows the needed angle for these bolts. I was already given a perfectly good intake but the angle was way off for these. Th 14096244 has a far "flatter" angle for these 4 bolts.

In addition the blue arrow is pointing to needed ount points not found on all 305 / 350 pre-vortec intaked.

here is a link to the need intake - but I'm not paying 629.95+ for an intake.

If someone knows of a web link to a reasonaable OEM or after market replacent that will work - it would be greatly appreciated.

I had one sourced yesterday for $80 but the seller decided a day later that he would not ship and instead sell locally.

Re: OMC Intake Manifold -14096244

I tried to modify a pre 1987 manifold but with the ammount of material I had to remove to get the bolts to line up made me feel unsre of the seal...

In any case I got the correct casting, used but in good condition - from a guy in Arizona. Shipping and manifold came to about $300 cdn.

Installed on my boat a few weeks back and very happy so far - about 5 trips on the water.
