hi can i take a 2.3 omc Engine out and put a 3.0 Mercruiser Engine in

It's not a direct bolt in if that is what you are asking. Wrong flywheel cover housing, the exhaust tube on the transom sheild will have to be changed (wrong side) from the looks of the picture there is no room in front of the engine for the front mount used on Merc. Note the engine side mounts on the Ford engine and fuel tank location.
Not sure but I think the 3.0L engine had a different gear ratio in the drive than the 2.3L did.

am Not sure wot the OMC COBRA 2.3 LITRE is like. but nice boat that is why i ask i can have a boat that has got a 3,0 Mercruiser in it but the boat is no good
