Hello <br /> I am having a problem with my boat running get in the water get past the boowies and get up to plain then it dies out. Let it set for a minit and then it starts back up and starts to shake and jar. Pulled the whole back unit off (6 5/8 bolts) and the top cap looked down in it and found metal. Ordered a manual on it and started to pull lower unit off but did not want to go to far with it. It is an omc outdrive with a 4.3L engine the engine seem to be fine. How much of a problem is it to pull the lower unit off and is there any hidden parts that may fall out when I do this. Am I getting in over my head? I feel comfortable doing it but really don't know what I am getting into. thanks for your time!
