OMC PREBENT FUEL HOSES

HELLO ALL I DONT KNOW IF THIS HAS EVER BEEN DISCUSSED IN THE PAST BUT I WAS WONDERING IF THE PREBENT FUEL HOSES USED ON THE 98 115 INTRUDER WERE ETHENOL SAFE I HAVE OWED THIS OUTBOARD SINCE NEW AND STILL HAVE THE ORIGINALL HOSES STILL ON. THEY STILL ARE GOOD NOT SOFT AND SPONGY THANKS IN ADVANCE.

They probably aren't. But why argue with success? They've been doing ok all these years. And even if they fail today, it is replacement time just because of age, ethanol or not.

I believe they can handle fuel with up to 10% ethanol.

If they're still working good use them. Check the cost on new ones.
