I'm looking for a OMC Sea Drive hose with the part number 983543 (oil line assy, piston end) it's for the trim/tilt Hydraulic ram it's the longer of the two hoses can anyone help?
Have you checked on the BRP Evinrude website < http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/ > to see if the part is NLA or still available? If NLA, there are some dealers < sea-way.com > that have a lot of new old stock. Also, see salvage yards in the sticky area.
sea drives are not on the BRP site. that the existing hose to a hydrolic shop, they will make you a new one. unless an old dealer has old stock, it is no longer available.
Hard to find. either used or a fab shop to make new ones for you.
I got lucky in FL and someone make new ones for me. Sorry i do not have the guys name. Check ebay you may find a complete tilt unit to steal parts off of.
