Hey everyone, I got a new OMC manifold on the Mercruiser and now am wondering about the shutter valve. My mechanic says that the one I got is too big and I don't think they made any different sizes.
I have attached a file showing the installation as I think it should be. If any of you can verify that the drawing is correct or if you know what the problem is I would really appreciate it.
The sterndrive is (I believe ) an 89 Cobra. The old motor was a 3.0 L OMC.
