Ok the shift cable jacket on my stringer is leaking water into the lower end, It has been fix w/ epoxy .. I have someone who might be interested in the Hull and I could part out the lower unit ... Question If I find a boat w/ a 5.7 merc w/ a cracked block can I use my engine as a replacement ? it is a chevy 5.7
