I have a quick off topic question for you guys especially the Starcraft folks......

Do not know much abou these boats, but pondering on picking this one up as well. Is the price good, i was thinking about offering 300.00

1975 18' Starcraft alunimum boat. 1975 Evinrude 140. Power trim. Motor needs carb cleaned and new cables. ( I think with motor. Say it is bad) Boat does not leak and transom is good. Floor is solid but needs seats. Has a new dash. Tilt trailer is in good shape with new tires. Has a spare. 650.00 Cash.

Buy it!!! It's worth every penny of that $650! You grab it for $300, you'll be a hero and the envy of all the Starcraft bros around here

Caution though, you go tin, you may find that glasser a lil less appealing

Hey Jasoutside and the other tin men (and women).........

I emailed the guy yesterday about the boat and just threw out there the ridiculously low price of 300.00 so i would not have to have any issues with the admiral and i could say that I did try and not have to worry about it.

So just waiting to hear back from him. I expect that i will get one of two repsonses either for the low offer or laughed at. will just have to wait and see.

No way! Man, even if the OB is junk and the entire boat needs to be rebuilt, you are stealing that boat right in front of our eyes

You get that OB running that deal will be ridiculous!

I am looking forward to what happens next!

ok, due to rain, a trip, and an addition to the fleet i have not been able to make any progress. hopefully when i get back next week i will be able to put some time in and get some pics uploaded. but there is a new thread being started.
