1986 Evinrude 40 VRO.
Since 2003 it has always had whatever conventional lube was current with OMC/Evinrude at the time of change.
I now have been given some OMC synthetic lower unit lube that says on the bottle that it is OK for non electric shift outboards. That's me.
Any problems in making the changeover?
