I'm working on the cosmetics of my '89 Cobra drive. Internals seem fine. I'm replacing things like hoses, bellows anodes, etc. I am repainting all the parts. So far ok, but I can't locate a used tiller arm puller. Does anyone have info on suppliers or used OMC part #984146?
In lieu of the actual tool, has anyone had any success pulling the arm (while obviously not damaging it or gimbal in the process) with another improvised or after market tool? Most of what I've seen posted in different forums are woeful stories of frustration trying to get 'er done.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
