OMC tool

I am replacing rings on 115hp Johnson Evinrude motor and the manuel suggests to remove the piston cap screws with OMC Torque socket P/N 331638.Where can I find this tool .I have looked on every OMC website but can not find it. Help please.

If you mean the rod cap screws, it's a 5/16-12 point socket. Snap-On, or Mac tool's. I feel Mac is the better tool.

It's just a hardened, thin wall, 12 point socket. ishopmarine.com has them listed.

Edit: I agree with R.Johnson on the substitutes because of price if anything.

This is a thin wall socket. A off brand will crack out the side, I've had Snap-On do this also. If it does'nt do this removing the bolt, it will torqueing it back down. I've had the same Mac socket for probably 40 years', or more.
