OMV 235hp seadrive

Anyone seen this kind of outboard before? just bought it and i am looking for information especially on the seadrive part. I can tilt the whole drive with engine or just the engine. Supposed to be OMC make 1986mod. Info or input would be great. Greetings & welcome - I got a pair of 1987 1.6 L SeaDrives (110 hp V 4s) on a 23' CC. I have had this rig for 10 years and have had no trouble with the SeaDrives. They are complex though as described in the OMC shop manual. They stopped making the SeaDrives many years ago. I got my manual (shop & parts) here:<br /><br /> http://www.theoutboardwizard.bizhosting.com/parts_service_and_owners_manuals.html <br /><br />The powerheads are the same as any non SeaDrive OMC motor.<br /><br />You need to be a bit carefull comming off of plane as these units sit low in the water. I goose the throttle just a tad at the end as the stern wave approaches the transom.<br /><br />Be careful when mounting this motor as the motor height is not adjustable. It stays where you drill the holes through the transom.
