you answered your own question trailer it.

most pontoons that I use or ride on are on lifts at the end of the docks. only one is kept in the water and that is the first boat on the lake and the last boat off the lake. however many people around here trailer their rigs because they like boating different locations.

I'm jealous of those of you who have covered slips. Where I am there is no such thing. My wife and I make a great team, she can back a trailer down the ramp with the best of them and I'm lined up and ready to go when the trailer hits the water. Our toon is 14' high, on the trailer, so it won't fit in my garage. I store it in a buddies big metal building 1 1/2 miles from the ramp.

We trailer it. Too many places within an hour or two here where we can launch...
