I'd love to hear how his problem resolved as well, hence why Ponyman and i posted here.. but we haven't heard anything from him. would it be better if i a posted a new thread for my motor that's topping out at 3000 rpms? I'm not entirely sure that 'bogging down' is the best term for what is happening with my motor anyway.. thanks!

The only thing that I have found with mine is that the compression is good, and there IS good spark on all 4 cylinders. I bought one of the spark testers and set it to 7/16 and the arc jumped perfectly. I did however pull the plugs again (I replaced all 4 2 trips ago) and found 2 of them that were perfectly clean...like they had never been in a motor before. There is something up with those 2 cylinders and the only thing that makes sense is fuel related....like the carbs.

Stephen, I will keep following your other thread as well....thanks for having a similar problem LOL
