There was a young couple that was very much in love and as they were heading to their wedding got involved in a terrible car crash and both were killed.<br /> Upon arriving in heaven and meeting St. Peter asked if they could be married. As this was unusual St. Peter had to check. After checking he told the couple they would have to wait, to be patient. They went about together enjoying heaven and ten years passed before they went back to St Peter and asked again about being married. Again they were told they would have to wait. Continuing to enjoy heaven together another ten years passed before asking again only to be told they would have to wait even longer. Continuing as before another ten years passed and St Peter came to them and said Now is the Time, you can be married.<br /> All of heaven turned out for their wedding and it was a beautiful affair.<br /> Shortly after being married the couple started to argue and couldn't seem to get along. They decided to get a divorce and went to inform St Peter about their decision. <br /> Immediately after talking to St Peter about their decision he became upset and told them that there was no way they could get a divorce. They started arguing and wanted to know why it was impossible.<br /> St Peter told them.....It took 30 years before we got a priest up here to marry you, how long do you think it will take to get a lawyer...
