One more 7520 question (then I got er)

For some reason the water pump base will not seal to the case. I have looked at it and it is just 2 clean gasket surfaces so I don't see why it would be leaking but it is showing bubbles under pressure which it will not hold.I have checked for cracks in the case and water pump base.Are the water pump bases prone to warping?The motor was not pumping water and that was the reason for disassembly so it did get a little hot.I have the gasket under the base and the holes only line up one way so I think it is on right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks-B

got the case all sealed up,pressure test comfirmed. 8 psi 4 psi and 11 psi.Dont give up on me.
