Hello fellow Toon's this is my second year with a Bennington, Sedona and love it. I am docked on a river and have noticed the brown stains below the water line that are taking over my very nice new toons of last year. I am looking to find the best way to clean them and keep them as clean as possible. I realize that scum, and river crap is part of the deal, but am looking for some good advice. thanks:confused:

You will have to get the boat out of the water and clean and polish the toons back to their shine then I would use a product call Sharkhide Protectant to keep them shiney.

Re: One more Cleaing Toon question

I remember reading on another thread, someone suggested taking the toon to a truck detail/cleaning station. He seemed to think they could shine it up really nice.
Here, I found it,
From PontoonWolf: If you have a larger toon such as a 24' like I did. Take it to a polish shop for semi's. They charge very little to put an acid mixture to it, and clean it free of all debres. They can also put a polish on the toons, that is second to none.
They use the same compound that is used on fuel tanks for semis.

The truck idea is a good on, will have to do some research on that. Seems like everyone likes Sharkhide, will give it a shot. Thanks
