As another severe storm approaches , the weather geek reports that we need only 1 more inch of rain to be the wettest June / July on record . At least the water levels are up for August boating:redface: peter

We received over 10 inches of rain in Southern Indiana this past week. Gauged 3.8 inches last night alone.

Was expecting something else after reading the Subject line. What a let down. Almost as bad as the "show us your box thread!!!"

ohhhhhhhh..... it's too easy and I really don't wanna hold back all the thoughts going through my head, but I will. Atleast until someone else starts the show.

My hometown area st.marys pa has had three tornado's sighted this summer alone. This is alot for my area but they haven't had any big ones that actually did damage since 1985 and from what I've heard they used to get one every 15 to 20 years. So they are beyond due for one. They had one I have a video of from sunday that made the news. The weather is screwy this year.

The local natives here are all starting to do rain dances. I haven't cut my grass in 4 weeks and it still looks like it will be another 2 weeks before it gets cut.

So you guys stole all our rain! I'm just north of Vancouver, BC and we've been setting high temperature records for the last few weeks! 36 to 45+ celcius depending how far inland you are. We've got campfire/burning bans and water usage restrictions, not to mention the huge forest fires around Kelowna. You can't buy a portable/window air conditioner in the Pacific Northwest for love or money right now!




But it's been great boating weather!

You guys need to move to Las Vegas to understand what NO RAIN is really like. Here they measure the annual rainfall in 1/4" increments (I know that's a small exaggeration, but).

And, my wife told me one more inch still would not be enough. :redface:

I'm sorry i should have clarified im in Georgia on the family farm for the summer. We have had rain around us but none thats fell on us. Sorry Rick
