Yes, I'm having one of those days today. I dropped off my Jet Ski Wednesday to have an oil change done along with a recall fix. I told them I would pick it up on Friday with no problems.

Well, I arrived at the shop around 3:00-3:30 and they hadn't even started on it. I asked if they were planning on having it done and they said yes. Well, I had my three year old daughter with me and so we went to some area parks and had a great time playing. I finally got tired of waiting and went back right before the shop closed which was at 6 tonight. They were just finishing up.

After over $200 later, I stopped at Speedway to fill it up. I started pumping and climbed up to push the key in to watch the gauge when the pump fell out, putting two chips into the paint along with gas going everywhere. I was not a happy camper.

Then I met my wife at the lake and had dinner. Afterwards, I put in and ran for maybe 15 to 20 minutes when it started running really bad. It was idling funny last week so I had the oil changed. Where I used to get 65-70 on the average, I now get 25-30. My boost is way low not even making it half way of what it should be.

Lastly, I was suppose to meet up with someone from the Checkmate forum but he was a no show when he said he was going to be there. This is the second time this guys has done this to me. The first being several weekends ago when I was going to GIVE him my old gas tank and he text's me when I'm halfway to his house that he had to work. I guess that's what I get for doing someone a favor.

Anyways, just thought I'd share me good luck with everyone tonight.

Low boost ? Oh no that is surely bad. :D
Friend use to have a supercharged ski whiz. A RXP I think. T'was pretty fast, you could hear the little blower some but not much. No stock boost gauge (that I know i of) probably has an info center tells all right ?

Good luck with it and I wouldn't do anything for that other guy anymore.

Thanks guys. Yesterday was definitely a hydrant day for me.

I've never tinkered with the jet ski but I think the BOV needs adjusted so I'm going to do it rather then get jerked around by the dealer.

Yep, that's unfortunate. Did you change the spark plugs on the jet ski yet? I had the same issue with mine, turned out to be a fouled plug. If I ever find a service center that has my vehicle / boat / appliance / whatever done when they say they will, I will probably have a heart attack. You know how long it took for an oil change on my company truck before I drove it from Tampa to Toledo (1150 miles)? It was dropped off at 1PM on a Friday, and finished at 12PM on a Saturday!

What kind of ski is it? If it's a supercharged Sea Doo, you may be in big trouble. For many years they used ceramic clutch washers in their superchargers. These ceramic washers have a tendency to shatter sending little pieces of ceramic material throughout your engine via the oil system. Kills your rpm as well as oil pumps and other things. I pray this isn't what happened, $$$$ fix.

Thanks again guys. It's a Kawasaki so no ceramic washers to worry about. I also have new plugs but haven't replaced them yet. I will say those were expensive at $25 each.
