Only one clylinder with spark

Hi All,

Have a Suzuki DT 50hp with only the top cylinder with spark.

When I take the leads apart leading to the coils and swapping them around, I will then have spark at bottom cylinder.

With the two leads coming from the CDI unit, would this be where the problem is?

Any help would be most appreciated,

That would be my guess. If the "no spark" follows the coil/plug wire.

Seems this is a difficult one judging by the response on it. Would have thought there would be some kind of test that could be done, but maybe not.
