But did I ? Picture speaks for itself . 1996 175 Johnson Cracked My Magnet while getting flywheel off. Does this chipped magnet need to replaced or should it still perform . ? If I put it back together without replacement what might I expect as far as running or not and or performance. If a replacement magnet is needed what is the part number ? I did not see the magnets listed separately only the whole flywheel. They look easy enough to replace if only riveted to the flywheel itself. Thanks.

Google replacing magnets.

Yes, you need to replace it

Thank you Scott. These magnets are in better shape but still have small chips towards the top. Can I use this flywheel ?
