I recently have moved and my home theater receiver was samaged during the "event". Turns out that I need a entire new AV Board for my receiver. I love the damn thing and only bought it 2 years ago. Per the repair shop Onyko doesnt make that board anymore. Wondering if anyone can help find or send me somewhere to find one.

Receiver: TX-SR805
Serial # E7Y0027321P
Board # NCVD-9052

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Adam

Sorry I cannot be of much help, as I am in the eastern part of the state. I have had good luck with the following guys on this side of the state.

D&D electronics, Thiensville, WI

Sound Stage ( repair side) Mequon, WI

Have you checked around in Madison? There used to be an ok shop on Park St, near the beltline, cannnot remember their name though:(

There are quite a few being sold on eBay...and one ad states that he is selling parts (item #170408944516).

And this auction is for one that has cabinet damage, but is guaranteed to be working fine (item #250608242012)...with 1 day left to go, there is only a $12 bid!

Happy boating!

Re: Onyko Help!!

Thanks for your help guys I have contacted Onyko myself and they state they still make the board and have one. I would have to order it from a " Factory Authorized" Service Center and im trying to find one here somewhat Locally. Thanks for all your help and Im Releaved that I dont have to plunk down much cash for a entire new receiver.

Thanks
Adam

Re: Onyko Help!!

I just got my Onkyo receiver back a couple of days ago, warranty work, the HDMI board went out. Its a very common problem with these receivers. It took me five months to find the receipt so I could take it in under warranty, the guy at the shop said even if I couldn't find it to just call Onkyo and see if they cover it. He said its a known problem and so common they redesigned the board and have plenty in stock and they may have covered it even without it.

Re: Onyko Help!!

Just picked up an Onyko RT410 receiver on Saturday at a yardsale ... works great and paid $15 for receiver, sub-woofer and 5 surround sound speakers! I am a happy camper! Great sound! Probably would not have gotten it without reading this thread first and looking at the Onkyo info. Thanks Skiuseme!
