hahahah i have both those saved already.. my buddy has the 2004 he said dont get it cuz its gunna kill me when im commuting. hes my age has that but luckily his family has like 8 cars. he said whenever he went somewhere he took the other cars cuz the gas killed him wiht it

lol i have had several 4x2 6cyl dakotas all got mid 20's and as far as swaying me from dodges here is a ford with a plow if your in to lawn mowing you could plow driveways in the winter for the same people

also for what you want the truck for the dakota is a step up from the ranger and s-10 better payload and towing i towed a jeep cherokee on a trailer 250 miles with mine without a problem

eh somthing about being taller than the car kinda turns me away.. yah i know im picky you can say it lol... oh yah and the kid with the dodge. is my boss and hes the one who plows them lol..

actually my trucks are lower that the usaual high truckes around...i use the box in mine every day...so a box that is way up in the air is a real pita for me to lift fridges and stove into....so no streaching or lifting it.....just gonna make it a 4wd.


as far as the next boat project...im gonna rip and strip the bayliner capri and re foam it and put in a new deck......gonna see if i can get it done in two weeks.......

then when spring time comes....SELL IT !...thats my 383 stroker money.

oops zach thinks i am stuck on dodges. your a dodge owner back me up here tell him that a dakota is twice the truck as a s-10 or ranger lmao

i run a big ram diesel.....havent driven a dakota....but noklu really likes his ranger..........but dodge has taken the market with there trucks......there has to be a reason....

don't det me wrong rangers and s-10s are great trucks but dakotas are just a little bigger and handle towing better

oh i never disagreed with you.. dont get me wrong. i know its got alota power. thats why im looking at the f150s. the v6 dakotas have almost worse gas mileage than the v8s. my buddy/boss drives one and told me if im gunna commute he said dont get it. it gets worse mileage that said. like i said dont get me wrong i like the dodges. love his truck . his dad has a tahoe. we call it the maroon monster.. ill get a pic this weekend to tell you why we call it that.. .. i like any brand. just not the smaller trucks like the s-10s

oh and oops sounds like its a good little project. i wanna sell the Columbian after i finish it. this guy in town offered me a free 25footer. good condition except he took out the power . so its just pretty much the shell. hes trying to get rid of it but if he doesnt i told him i would help him cut it up and for the help i get 4 free boat stands and anything i want off the boat.. i really hope no one takes it.

it's got to be the driver i have had 4 dodge dakotas and one ram witht the 3.9v6 got 20 mpg with the ram and 21-25 with the dakotas and had lots more towing power than the ranger and s-10 guys

yah my uncle was gunna sell us his but he blew the engine somehow. than a mechanics friend at the shop almost sold us shis but that wont be for a couple more months... all this talk is making me wanna go offroading..

i had a 1995 4x2 dakota that would go more places than some people 4x4s lol i worked at a ski resort and i drove it up every slope except the black dimonds

to get the boats to where i work on them i have to go 50yards down hill then across a semi soft 30yrd width of dirt. than right up to the spot.. its nice. theres a couple places around here that i can go to. my buddy always had mud on his truck. and still does with his new one.

its not that steep. . ill get a pic. i usually get them in when its been dry for a couple days. its not that bad.. i can't do it at my house with out getting yelled at.. and my grandparents can barely see it from the house so they don't mind.. and its a big open space. with a generator and big shed right next to it
