Oops, I forgot to mark the shift rod!! fuuuuuun...

Does anybody know how I can get the correct shift rod height before I reassemble my lower unit? 1986, 60 hp Johnson triple.

I never thought about checking how many threads it was turned in etc. I’m just hoping to reassemble this thing without having it apart 14 times to get get it to shift in and out of forward and reverse properly.
