I checked them they are fully closed I hooked up a tach and
It still idles from 900-1200 rpm sporadically
Also I took it out today after replacing
And gapping all spark plugs and new fuel filter and
The issues have got worse now it has trouble
Idling it just stalls to me it seems like it's not getting fuel
But squeezing the bulb doesn't make a difference
So I guess next would be the carbs I'm getting
Pretty close to just giving up can't really afford
To pay some one to get it running for me time to save for
Some carb kits and while I save I'm going to
Start from the beginning and see where the compression
Is and that I'm getting appropriate spark

Well i saved enough money to have a mechanic look at it hope he can get it running good!

I live in Milton Florida
finally found a oem manual
for my motor as well i bought it but
the seller is away till the 22 i'm sure it will be a lot better then my third party one that tries to cover a million years and models in one book lol
I was stationed in japan for 4 years right after high school and didn't spend much when i was there but when i got back to the states i went a bit overboard and now paying for those mistakes buying to much at once lol

I really appreciate your desire to help me one of the reasons i love this forum is people like you that want to help . im going to be there while hes doing everything and i grasp stuff pretty qucik especially if i see it so hopefully we get her going and u i learn a thing or two ill keep ya posted on what happens we are starting from the begining with compression, spark and fuel system then hes going to narrow it down.
ill ask about the mechanic you sent me see if anyone i know has used him thank you again!!
