It's walking the straight line on-top of the water that gets me ;)

Great! Just what we need. Another stupid excuse for the local Barney Fifes to harrass us.

Good! As far as I am concerned they can have a ball, because I'm sick and tired of seeing immature jerks operating boats while being trashed.

While I dont relish being told what to do by the man, I see that this program has its place. Too many people out there with no personal responsibility ruin it for those who know better.

it must be nation wide,as many years as i have been out & about at nite i have never been cked after dark,we were fishing on norris lake in Tn & decided to move about 1 am,i noticed a boat headed our way when the lites came on.i stopped & lit a lantern i had tied to the canopy so they could see inside my pontoon easily,5 min later they were on their way,i did'nt mind 1 bit ,they were game wardens cking saftey equipment & had a good look around & did'nt see beer cans or such as we were fishing & not partying,if that is what it takes to save 1 life im all for it,who's to say it might be a innocent kid? ,jmo,mike243

I am not gonna say that I don't drink on the boat, that would be a lie. However, I am very responsible about it. I eat prior, drink only about 6 beers in an 8 hour period, and afterwards eat again before operating the vessel. I am not a speed demon, I will enjoy a nice ride at about 20mph on the ride in. I do not condone the people that look to set a drinking world record on the boat though. I think the checkpoints will be a great thing, though.

One question, is it completely "dry" or a .08 BAC like in cars?
