Re: Opinion on boat im looking to buy

I have the exact same boat year/engine without the hardtop. I love the boat. The engine has been flawless. I bought the boat new and have about 400 hours on it now. In my opinion, that price is a great deal. I would not let mine go for that much. The ride is excellent, I fish out of Jones Inlet and have no problem heading out in a 2-3 foot chop. If the boat does not have trim tabs, get them. The only boat issue I have had is that seaswirl did not seal certain screw holes well during assembly and I had to fix. PM me if you have any specific questions. I wouldn't base my decision on someone's opinion that does not own the boat. Just my 2cents.

I have had the cuddy or walkaround crave for about the past month and have pulled up a lot of boats for sale. The 'Swirl is one of them. That price is right on if the boat checks out. You may be well off spending some money on a surveyor, having heard that it has not been winterized. However as has been said, not that big of a deal with an ob.
