I'm about to purchase a 25' Wellcraft Coastal with a 305 V 280 Volvo Penta. I will want to purchase, in the $200-300 range a depth indicator, fish finder and maybe a gps. I know this is a low amount of $ but nevertheless I'm interested what Brands, models and anything else one would recommend.

Thanks

You can find lots of fish-finders in that price range, but a fish-finder/GPS combo, not so much.

The biggest screen you can afford and fit is the way to go. Color is easier to interpret quickly than grayscale. Lowrance and Humminbird are the most common in this price range.

Get a Lowrance or Eagle SONAR and a Garmin GPS.

Neither is a place to expect hi performance for low bux. A junk price only buys junk.

Get A Eagle Cuda 350. Has GPS and fish finder.Just installed mine and works great. Very easy to use. Hooked it to my vhf radio for gps position and just about connected itself. paid $200 at Cabelas.
