Opinions on these boat/motor combos?

I fish (and do family boating) in Mobile Bay and out into the gulf on a decent day.

I'm looking at an ad for a 2006 Sea Pro 19DC with an (upgraded) 115 optimax. What does "upgraded" mean? Link below.

Also looking at a 2006 Sea Boss with 115 opti. Link below.

Someone posted that they thought that Sea Boss bought Sea Pro and that they are one and the same. True?

Does the 115 opti provide sufficient power to either or both of these boats? Fuel economy is high on my list but I don't want an underpowered boat.

Checking nada both Sea Pro and Sea Boss stopped making boats in 2006. How should this impact my thinking?

I'm also including a link to a Hydra-sport 20DC. I suspect that the 20 DC is simply a bigger better boat for the gulf days. Your opinion, please. It would have to be powered with at least a 150 opti, I believe. Your thoughts?

How would the 19DC's compare with the 20DC?

Thanks for your reply.

from my experience, i would consider the 1992 Hydro sport, if the hull is in as good condition as it looks, the power new, with warranty. i boat every year in the keys, and see a lot of older boats every year, that have been repowered. i would negotiate the price, as a boat without power is very hard to sell. a good condition old hull will give you the same thing as a newer hull for more money. i also like the option of being able to power it with what i really want on it.

well between the 2 hydrasports you are paying, $1000 for a 17 year old 200 hp motor that may run another 20 years. or the boat with no motor, and use that $1000 toward the new motor. i think the boats are comparable.
