Opps wrong distributor

Picked up a boat last week, she's an old-un that needs some TLC but for the age in very good shape.:joyous:

It wasn't until I got it home and started to have a good look around I noticed the distributor looks like a truck one. I know I'm going to have to change it, but what I don't understand is the boat runs really well. With the vacuum advance being removed I can't figure out why it runs so well lol.

If any one has any pointers to what aftermarket distributor would work that would be a great help (1988 350)

Delco Voyager EST.. Plenty of suppliers, just google it. $350ish for the kit

Still don't get how it seems to run so well, flat ignition curve of 15*................................... go figure eh!!


Edit:Looks the same as what the Volvo Penta uses with the jumper cable?

Thanks for the link ................................but they don't ship to Canada, found one local in the end so all is good now and shouldn't burst into a ball of flames lol.
