i am new to this forum i was referred by a friend.
But my question is i have a 2006 optimax and my compressor has totally broken free from my motor, it snapped the cast aluminum around the bolts and also broke the stud on the back, i took it to work and tig welded it back together and ran it a few time and it broke again,
the compressor is not locked up when i check it it turns by hand.
Any idea what would be causing this?
i took it apart and the reed plate assembly was nasty and full of trash and looked burnt, the crank case looked clean.
cylinder walls of the compressor also look ok.
i noticed the slot were the water goes through to cool had a milky white mud in it
as if the oil and water was mixing but not sure.
