Hi,

I have an 07 200hp optimax. I'm adding a 9.8 nissan 4 stroke kicker. My plan is to cut the main fuel line to the optimax and install a fuel/water seperator. I've noticed some of these inline filters have additional ins/outs to function as a fuel manifold. The one I saw at wally's has a in/out on both sides. Is there one that has a single in on one side and 2 outs on the other? I'd rather not make a spaghetti mess of my fuel lines.

Once the manifold is in place, I plan on connecting a barb and fuel hose to it with a male connection on the opposite side so I can plug the nissan fuel line directly into that. Is there a problem doing it this way? Is there a better way to go about this?

Thanks

They put more than one in/out to accommodate the installation. You only use one in and one out with plugs in the unused ones. Water seperator filters are like everything else in the world. You get what you pay for. You have a couple of good motors there so do yourself and them a favor and get a good one like a 10 micron Racor. Just my opinion.
