NC, you mentioned in the other post you'll be getting it in a few weeks.

Was it delayed from the factory (I had a 3 week delay) because of the supply chain issues.

I've also heard that there is limited inventory from the motor manufacturers (they're keeping very low inventories because of the economic downturn last year, they're not hedging their bets)

Hope you get it soon and out on the water for some fun.

Suppler issues, and in my case it was the windshield. Taylormade is the only supplier of windshields now, and they are very behind in production.

Yeah, I got a delayed but never found out why.

So what did you get for an engine on this boat? I ask because Mercury is carrying light inventories as well.

It'll have a Yamaha F150 with a Yamaha Reliance SS prop. On our small lake that'll be plenty of power for our planned use. Only wish I had it now.

The F150 should move that nicely. I don't know the situation with Yamaha or their inventories. Hopefully that doesn't delay you more.

Luckily the dealer I ordered from is probably the largest boat dealer in NC. They regularily stock lots of those motors. In fact the motor was already set aside to my boat before March 30th so I could get the free 3 year Yamaha extended warranty giving me 6 years total. I hear you on the wait....
