I currently own two 98 honda outboards.Today I went to the local dealer to get a water pump part. Guess what they sell the engines but keep a limited inventory of parts, if I wanted the part in less than four weeks I would have to pay more than double the price.I think paying $50.00 for a mass produced plastic impellor housing is just a little bit rediculous.<br />The next nearest dealer is over four hundred miles away.<br />Here is what I propose if someone can get the e-mail address of Honda marine manufacturing customer support and post it here.Then everyone who owns a Honda and would like to order parts online contact them and request that they make thier parts availible online or like myself when I go to repower my boat I'll shop elswhere.<br />This is 2003 not the 80's.<br />If anyone else feels the way I do lets join forces and see if we can get results.
