This is a video of a famous Oregon fishing port called Depoe Bay. It shows how hard it can be for boats to re-enter its small, narrow rocky entrance from the ocean on bad weather days. I didnt watch the Video, Im still on dial up. Depoe Bay is just about 2 hrs North of me, we go there once or twice a year. Neat place but lousy resturants. IMHO. Good place to whale watch though.

Some of the passengers on the "Smitty" may need to change their shorts.<br /><br />Looks like the best way to do it is to get near the port, put your bow in the waves looking for a break in the waves, and then do a 180 to get in.<br /><br />Ken
