I am rebuilding my carburetors on a 74 50HP and I liked to never got the orifices out. I had to file a small screw driver down to fit and the slotted side of the orfice got a tad bit chewed up getting them out. How critical is this or should I replace them?

Hi Redfish<br />These things are fairly critcal. I guess it depends on how chewed, chewed up is. Sitting here a tad bit sounds like it may be too much. Go ahead and try to run them. If they work fine, if not, I guess you'll be lookin for new ones. This time either make your tool fit right or order the proper tool with the parts.

A quick note on the jet-drivers: Go to your local Briggs n Stratton dealer and purchase the set of 2 drivers...very cheap, and very good for the job at hand.
