I am rebuilding the inside of my 1979 Bass Tracker. After tearing all the old wood out I have discovered someone has already modified this boat by raising the decks. I was wanting to know what it looked like off the showroom floor. Does anybody know where I could find a sales brochure picture or something that would show the original layout of the boat. I'm kind of drifting towards maybe restoring it back to the way it was.

Hi nimmor.
I just did an internet search with the information you gave here and came-up with a couple diferent boats that match yours. I could not find any original pictures of the boat as it came off the showroom floor but I seen a couple diferent variations you could get an idea from. Good luck hunting.

Yes, I did find several redo's. It looks like the front deck was about half lower than it was when I bought it. I'm thinking this might be more stable for fishing but was wondering how it was layed out. I still would like to have some storage area. The back deck I believe didn't exist, but I may put it back because of storage. It is pretty stable to fish from at the full height.

Do a search that says, "pictures of 1979 bass tracker. Also might check with http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...n_SYCw&usg=AFQjCNHFteUgdZkzP6mwAp9t8FuAWQ3ssg to see if they have an original archived sales brochure.

I found every sales brochure for my boat on ebay. There is a company on there that has archived alot of boats. do a search on ebay as well for 1979 bass tracker sales brochure, might get lucky.

I'm not sure if you found the pictures that you were looking for, but I have just acquired an original 1979 Bass Tracker from the original owner and I could take some pictures if necessary. It is still in pretty decent shape except for the rear floor under the pedestal. It still has all the original carpeting.
Let me know if I could help.
