yamaha stopped using year of production for any parts or service manuals in 2006.
05 was the last of the production codes.
the build date is still on the motor but its not used for parts nor service.
I was looking for the exact dates, when they started and stoped . I know for cars the next years models are usally out in sept. Just wounder if yamaha built 2005 models only in 04, then switch to 06(with out date) some time during 05?
