Our cat got torn up!!! (but mending)

A stranger found our cat Sunday and took him to vet, big gash in his side. This guy walked all over our neighbor hood and found some kids who knew Cody, so he left note on front door. We got to vet and they had just done surgery/stitching up, he came home last night. On pain meds and antibiotics, but limping around, eating and gettin better, he even hopped on sons bed to sleep. Wow were we worried!

thanks, they say wound is like a barbed wire fence, but none I know of here, maybe a fight with raccoon?

Poor baby, at least there are still some good people around, it is really great what that person did for the cat and then to hunt you down so you would know where the baby was. Yes, I do like cats, have 2 adopted ones in my house now and one adopted dog in the yard.

Glad it all worked out.

Our cats are indoor only since I live so close to a road with a 50 mph speed limit, we have fisher cats on the hill behind us which eat house cats....... too many bad things outside.

I hate to see any animal suffer.

Miss Kitty is also an inside-only cat, as was Catzilla.

Like Bob, I have lots of predatory neighbors who favor kittys for lunch.

yeah, Im thinking of keeping him indoors all the time, but he loves seeing all the people outside, he's real friendly. He's feeling lots better and even hopping up on the counters now

We keep loosing our to the coyotes, usually right after we have them fixed.
Bob Barker wants you to have your animals spayed or neutered so as to provide the coyotes a better dinning experience.
