Out of here tomorrow (Update)

Heading to West Palm Beach ... hope to meet up with Snapper and catch a few ... if luck is normal, they will be small ones, but we will catch a few!

If there is any size, will post, if not, know we caught small ones.:redface:

Out of here tomorrow for Colorado ... if there is a big elk, I will show pictures on my return. Be good, y'all!

Thanks ... then I get back from West Palm and a week later head to Colorado for an Elk hunt. I might get spoiled! Or I could learn to like this!

There is still room on the Elk Hunt ... want to come? Semi-guided, and right now 5 of us will be hunting on 10,000 acres. Shouldn't be too crowded! Ya got 2 weeks to get ready ...

Okay, we head home tomorrow ... fishing was a success, but did not get to see Snapper ... he was too busy working. But he sends greetings (seems his dad took off to Ohio and several orders HAD to be done ASAP).
But the fishing was good ... got wet the first evening, caught a few ...

Second day we went out was much better ...

Then .... 30 minutes before we were to head back to shore I got a bump, set the hook, and the fight was on!

Went around the boat about 3 times

It was 1 hour before we saw anything

Lemon Shark ... about 6 feet and probably between 200 - 250 lbs!

105 minutes of pure fight! I was exhausted and drenched in sweat! He fought hard, but I won! I was sore the next day, and the love of my life wondered why it was so much fun if I was so sore ... but definitely a good day! I called Snapper to rub it in! HA!
Hope my luck holds for Colorado and the Elk hunt!

Looks like you had an amazing fishing trip. Nice work with the shark. I'd love to catch something like that and spend the best part of 2 hours and land it.

Awsome pics 'speck. Holy cow, I can't even imagine catchin something that big. Biggest fish I ever caught was a 25lb carp.
I do have to say, the shark looks great, but man do I love that shirt!​

Just got back in the door ... now I gotta shoot in the guns and get ready for Colorado next week ... oh, and archery season starts on Saturday! YIKES! Too much playing ... I am exhausted! Glad my wife LOVES me! LOL! I just have to bring back some elk meat.
