out of water decarb?

ive been doing a little research on this decarb process. some people say it is not needed to go WOT for decarb... so im wondering if i can decarb at home with muffs on?

Yes you can, but the best thing to do when you get done with it is to take it to the water and run the heck out of it. Done this many times. I've always used BRP Enginer tune and followed directions on the can.

i would not even come close to doing WOT with muffs...not a good idea!

yeah, WOT on muffs is NOT a good idea. The motor needs a certain amount of resistance to run at WOT properly. Without it, on muffs, your motor could easily over rev and become damaged. decarb as best you can on muffs, then get to the water ASAP to run at WOT. better safe than sorry.

your waterpump impeller can also come apart
