I have posted 4 pics of the outboard control lever on the Tai-Tai.

The last two have some arrows indicating the points I think should be lubricated.

link to pics

Questions: any other tip for maintenance? Am I missing a lubrication point? Should I use grease (what kind?) or should I just use WD40?

thanks in advance,

Negative on the WD-40 Kesh...

My favorite for that use would be Aqualube brand grease, followed closely by white lithium grease, which you could pick up at an auto parts store..

PS.. Excellent job on the gauge/switch panel...

why couldn't you just use some of that blue marine grease you use for wheel bearings etc? Maybe that is essentially what you recommended, Snapperbait?
