I have about 75 gallons of 50:1 mixed gasoline in my boat that no longer runs. The gas is a year and a half old, can it be used in my car?

Car only a little at a time when you have mostly a full tank. Lawn mower good too ;) but it will smoke.

Just go easy with it. I tried it with 6 gal. in a 20 gallon tank. Ran very poor and hard to start.

Back in '67 it ran good in my '63 Plymouth Valiant. I always had to leave Dad a note " Boat needs gas". Once I forgot. Not fun paddling on the Coosa. At least it was down stream to the ramp.

Re: outboard gasoline mix

It's not the oil that will hurt it, it's the fact that it's so old. But, as stated above if you use it a little at a time you shouldn't have any problems. I'd put a few gallons in after every fill up.
