outboard lift plate/jack plate

does anybody make a non-hydraulic jack plate for outboard motors. similar to the ones from bobs machine shop, but manual lifting. so that i can lower my outboard without chopping my transom so the prop will be running in " cleaner" water allowing it to get more " bite "

The 4" set-back alone on the above mentioned bracket should get you to where you need to be...

Gottcha RB, thanks......also, the plate shown in the link above is very simular to the one I built for my 115, and now the comment of adding 4" set-back makes sense with the engine left at the same heigth, and that's gonna be tuff to do with the plate listed due to the fact it is designed for running an XL shaft on an L transom...Point being it may still raise it too much....I've got a picture on here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it....
