need info on9.9 johnson mid 80s ,is this a good motor .and is it big enough for a kicker on 17 ft doral bowrider any info greatly app.

should be a great kicker..... I have a 21 foot MOD V and I got 6 mph with my 6 hp kicker, and about 7.5 MPH with my 15 hp kicker..sooo i probably doesnt matter that much...

I guess playing with props might help
