Afternoon all, <br />Took the plunge & ordered a new engine. Johnson 4 Stroke 90 HP Fuel Injection 20" leg. Really a Suzuki with a coat of white paint & Johnny decals. Cost, including control box, wiring loom, cables, alloy prop, tacho & trim gauge was A$10700 or US$8132 at todays exchange rate. Included 3 year non declining warranty.<br />How does this price compare with US prices. Any info greatly appreciated. <br />Regards,<br />Peter

peterbo3,<br />I got an '04 140 4-stroke, panel mount controls, cables, modular harness, key switch and systemcheck commander tach for less than you paid for the 90. I furnished my own prop &trim switch. I took advantage of the $4 back per horsepower and applied it to the purchase price rather than the additional 2-year extended service plan. I also de-rigged my other engine hung and rigged the new "Johnsu" myself then had the dealer go over everything to make sure it was right before use. Saved me another $300-$400.<br />JD
