where can i find the rubber weather seal that goes around the rim of the motor cover?theres only about 10% left on mine and am coming up blank on searching.thanks

Have you tried the dealer? How about automotive weatherstrip JC Whitney has a large choice but, I would try the dealer first.

Are you asking about the u-shaped rubber on the old OMC motors? I stuck some regular foam weatherstripping on the bottom of the cover, where the motor's lower cowling will touch it. It helped a bit.

saw on here a while back that someone had taken, 3/8" black rubber or pvc hose carefull split it and glued it to the cowling.

i found it for a 1974 115hp,will that work on my 1973 115hp.wonder if cowling is different size and if they come pre-shaped?
