Outboard with 12v connector?

hey do like most outboards like 10 hp or so have like a spot you can plug in a 12 volt connection to like run a light or something or not???

maybe this is a really stupid question idk thanks guys

No, not usually. There are some small motors designed for sailboats that have a plug on them. Little pull-start motors usually don't have a charging system.

Wow -- four times the word "like" was used in one sentence. Sorry if I sound like your Father Nicholas. All you need to power accessories is a battery. Charge the battery when you get back to the dock.

I wish my teenager would like use the work like. BUT NOoooo, his favorite words are dude, dog, sssup.....man it bugs me...

Maybe it's just a European thing, but my new Honda BF10SHE (pull start version) has a 12v socket, it can supply up to 6A to a battery for charging purposes.
