Outboard year made from modal # & serial #

I just recently bought a small fishing boat with a Johnson 9.5 hp engine. Could someone tell me the year it was made from the modal number MO-10S and serial number 2404270. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

re check your model number and make sure its not a MQ-10 if it is then its a <br /><br />MQ-10 HP9.5 YEAR:1964
