I have a 20 ft. Skeeter Fish n' Ski, and there simply isn't enough room in my garage for it, so I am going to store it outside this winter. I have had it covered for the past 2 weeks, and I thought everything was fine until I got under the cover today.
I have the Attwood Boater's Best cover which I bought from BPS under their 'BPS Branded Items'. Here is a link to it. BPS Sun Armor Cover[/URL
My problem is 2 fold.
The first problem is that this cover is leaking, and it claims to be waterproof. What should I do about that?
The second thing is that I need to cover the boat better than just with this cover. Should I 'wrap' the entire boat & trailer in a 15' X 30' tarp to completely keep the rain out?
I already have the boat tilted with the batteries out, and I am making covers for the wheels to put on sometime next week. I'm not too worried about snow weighting down the cover since I already have some supports in place, and we only get around 16" of snow average per year anyway. My main concern is keeping out moisture that could freeze and/or mildew my upholstery and carpet.
Thanks for the help, and sorry for the lengthy post.
